Introduction

Welcome to Lockin.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lockin, including its mobile application, website, user profiles, messaging features, matching services, subscriptions, advertisements, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By registering for an account, accessing, or using Lockin, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not register for or continue using the Service.

Lockin is a platform that facilitates connections and communications between adult users. It does not guarantee the identity, honesty, intentions, compatibility, conduct, or background of any user, or the outcome of any interaction.

These Terms are intended to establish clear responsibilities, protect the Service, and allocate risks to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes any right, remedy, or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

1. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

1. You must be at least 18 years old to register for or use Lockin.
2. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
3. You must provide accurate information about your age and must not misrepresent your identity or age to gain access to the Service.
4. Lockin may request additional information or verification where reasonably necessary to establish eligibility, prevent fraud, or protect users.
5. If we reasonably determine that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may restrict or terminate the account and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.
6. You must not help, encourage, or enable a minor to access the Service.

Lockin does not knowingly permit minors to use the Service. However, we cannot guarantee that every user will truthfully disclose their age or identity.

You agree to report suspected underage accounts through the available reporting channels.

2. Account Registration and Security

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain an authentic profile representing yourself.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
• Notify Lockin promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or account misuse.
• Update inaccurate or outdated profile information.
• Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

You may register or log in using the authentication methods made available by Lockin.

Your use of third-party authentication services is also subject to the applicable provider's terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must not impersonate another person, create fraudulent profiles, manipulate verification systems, or create additional accounts to evade a suspension or ban.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for activity conducted through your account where that activity is attributable to you.

Lockin is not automatically responsible for losses arising from compromised accounts, stolen credentials, unauthorized access, or a user's failure to take reasonable security precautions. This limitation does not apply where responsibility rests with Lockin under applicable law.

We may suspend access, request additional verification, or take reasonable security measures where we identify suspected fraud, account compromise, or violations of these Terms.

3. Community Guidelines and Prohibited Conduct

Lockin is intended to provide adults with a platform to discover connections and communicate respectfully.

You must not use the Service to:

1. Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit, or abuse another person.
2. Engage in unwanted sexual harassment, coercion, hate speech, or discriminatory abuse.
3. Upload, share, or distribute illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, or otherwise prohibited content.
4. Share intimate images, private photographs, or personal information belonging to another person without the necessary authorization.
5. Impersonate another person or create fake, fraudulent, or misleading profiles.
6. Solicit money through deception, operate scams, conduct phishing, or engage in financial fraud.
7. Promote unauthorized businesses, spam, or commercial activities in violation of our policies.
8. Manipulate matching systems, engagement metrics, verification systems, or subscription features.
9. Access another user's account, private messages, personal information, or restricted systems without authorization.
10. Use bots, scripts, or unauthorized automated methods to collect information or manipulate the Service.
11. Circumvent account restrictions, suspensions, or bans.
12. Interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the Service.
13. Engage in unlawful conduct through the Service or use it to facilitate an offence.
14. Misuse reporting mechanisms by knowingly submitting false or malicious complaints.
15. Violate any other published Lockin policy or applicable legal requirement.

Depending on the circumstances, Lockin may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features, suspend accounts, permanently terminate accounts, or take other reasonable enforcement measures.

Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected unlawful activity, preserve security, or comply with applicable law.

Where appropriate and legally permissible, users may request a review of an enforcement decision.

Lockin does not guarantee that every violation will be detected or prevented.

Nothing in this section removes any legal obligation applicable to Lockin.

4. Fraud, Misconduct, and User Interactions

Lockin provides a platform for users to discover, match, and communicate with other users. Users may independently choose what information to share, how to communicate, and whether to pursue relationships.

Users are responsible for their own conduct, representations, decisions, and interactions, subject to applicable law.

Lockin does not guarantee that users are genuine, truthful, trustworthy, financially reliable, compatible, or acting with honest intentions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lockin is not responsible for fraud, scams, false representations, harassment, inappropriate behaviour, financial requests, relationship disputes, or other misconduct committed independently by users, particularly where the conduct occurs outside the Service or beyond Lockin's reasonable control.

This includes circumstances in which a user:

• Misrepresents their identity, employment, relationship status, intentions, or personal circumstances.
• Requests or obtains money from another user.
• Engages in deceptive romantic or financial schemes.
• Sends threatening, abusive, or inappropriate communications.
• Shares misleading information or violates another person's trust.
• Engages in misconduct during an in-person meeting or communication outside Lockin.

The above allocation of responsibility does not exclude liability arising from Lockin's own conduct or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Users should exercise independent judgment before trusting another user, sharing sensitive information, transferring money, or arranging an in-person meeting.

Lockin may investigate reports, restrict accounts, remove content, and cooperate with lawful requests from appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

However, Lockin cannot guarantee that every fraudulent account, misleading statement, inappropriate interaction, or harmful act will be identified or prevented.

Use of Lockin is not a guarantee of another user's identity, intentions, honesty, or future conduct.

5. User Safety and Reporting

You are encouraged to use available safety features, including blocking and reporting, where provided.

You should not share passwords, payment credentials, verification codes, or other sensitive information with people you meet through the Service.

You should independently assess the risks associated with communicating with other users or meeting them in person.

Lockin may use automated screening, account verification, content moderation, and human review where implemented and appropriate.

These measures may not identify every threat, fake profile, prohibited image, scam, or instance of misconduct.

You agree to report suspected serious violations through the available channels and to provide accurate information when submitting complaints.

Lockin may request additional information reasonably necessary to investigate a complaint, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

We may take action based on the severity of a reported issue, available evidence, applicable law, and the need to protect users.

Nothing in this section guarantees a particular outcome from a complaint or investigation, and nothing removes any legal obligation to respond to complaints or take action where required.

6. User Content and Content Moderation

You retain ownership of photographs, profile descriptions, prompts, messages, and other content you submit to Lockin ("User Content"), subject to any rights belonging to third parties.

By submitting User Content, you grant Lockin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for the period and purposes reasonably necessary to operate and provide the Service, to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, process, and format that content.

This license permits Lockin to:

• Display profile information and photographs according to the Service's functionality and your settings.
• Deliver messages and other communications to their intended recipients.
• Store and process content to provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
• Review, moderate, restrict, or remove content to enforce our policies or comply with applicable law.
• Use service providers to perform the activities described above, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit your User Content and authorize the uses described in these Terms.

You must not submit content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy, contains unauthorized intimate images, or otherwise violates applicable law.

Lockin does not acquire ownership of your content merely because you use the Service.

We may remove, restrict, or disable access to content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, infringes another person's rights, threatens user safety, or must be restricted under applicable law.

We do not guarantee that all content will be reviewed before publication or that all prohibited content will be detected.

Where required, content moderation and complaint handling will be conducted in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

7. Subscriptions, Features, and Payments

Lockin may offer free features and optional paid subscription plans, including Classic, Premium, and VIP.

The features, prices, availability, usage limits, and duration of these plans may vary.

Before purchasing a subscription, you should review the plan description, applicable charges, duration, included features, renewal conditions, and other purchase terms displayed at checkout.

7.1 Payment Processing

Lockin may accept payments through supported third-party payment service providers or other payment methods made available within the Service.

Payments are subject to applicable payment processing procedures, security requirements, and relevant provider terms.

You agree to provide accurate payment information and follow the instructions displayed during the purchase process.

Where verification is required, Lockin may request a transaction reference or other information reasonably necessary to confirm that payment has been received.

Submitting a transaction reference does not, by itself, guarantee that payment has been successfully received, verified, or approved.

Paid subscriptions and features will be activated following successful payment confirmation, subject to the applicable purchase terms.

You must not submit false payment information, manipulate payment confirmations, or attempt to obtain paid features fraudulently.

7.2 Subscription Duration and Renewal

Unless expressly stated otherwise during purchase, subscriptions are provided for the duration specified at checkout.

A subscription purchased for a fixed period without automatic renewal will expire at the end of that period unless another subscription is purchased.

Automatic renewal will apply only where disclosed in the applicable purchase terms and authorized in accordance with applicable law.

You are responsible for reviewing the subscription details and purchase confirmation before completing a transaction.

7.3 Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility is subject to the applicable purchase terms, the circumstances of the transaction, and applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, fees for subscription periods or digital features already supplied may be non-refundable merely because you change your mind, stop using the Service, do not obtain the expected number of matches, or no longer wish to use the purchased features.

Lockin does not guarantee a refund simply because a user is dissatisfied with another user's behaviour, receives no response to a message, does not find a suitable match, or does not achieve a particular dating outcome.

However, this provision does not exclude refunds, reversals, or other remedies required by applicable law.

These may include circumstances involving duplicate charges, eligible failed transactions, non-delivery of purchased features, or other cases in which a refund is legally required.

Approved refunds will be processed through the applicable payment method or service provider, subject to relevant procedures and applicable law.

7.4 Paid Features and Availability

Paid features are subject to their published descriptions, usage limits, and applicable purchase terms.

Purchasing a subscription does not guarantee matches, replies, romantic relationships, increased engagement, or any particular outcome.

Lockin may modify, replace, restrict, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for technical, operational, security, legal, or business reasons.

Where a material change affects a paid service, we will provide any notice, adjustment, refund, or other remedy required by applicable law or the applicable purchase terms.

7.5 Payment Disputes

If you believe a payment has been incorrectly charged, duplicated, deducted without the corresponding subscription being activated, or otherwise processed incorrectly, please contact Lockin through the support details provided in these Terms.

We may request reasonable transaction information to investigate your complaint.

To the extent permitted by law, Lockin is not responsible for delays or processing failures attributable solely to independent third-party payment service providers, except where responsibility rests with Lockin under applicable law.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising rights or remedies available under applicable law.

8. Advertisements and Promotional Content

Lockin may display advertisements, sponsored content, promotional messages, banners, videos, interstitial advertisements, or other advertising materials within the application or website.

Advertisements may appear frequently or repeatedly, including during navigation or use of certain features, subject to applicable law and the applicable subscription terms.

You acknowledge and agree that:

1. Advertisements may form part of the free user experience.
2. The number, placement, format, duration, and frequency of advertisements may vary.
3. Lockin may change advertising formats, placements, and frequency for technical, operational, commercial, or other legitimate reasons.
4. Advertisements may be provided by Lockin or independent third-party advertising providers.
5. Third-party advertisements may direct you to external websites, applications, products, or services.
6. Lockin does not necessarily endorse or guarantee products or services advertised by independent third parties.
7. Your interaction with third-party advertisements or services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lockin is not responsible for independent advertisers' products, services, representations, or conduct beyond Lockin's own legal responsibilities.

You should independently assess the accuracy and suitability of an advertisement before purchasing a product, providing personal information, or engaging with an advertiser.

Where advertisements involve the collection or use of personal information, such processing will be subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

8.1 Advertisements in Paid Subscriptions

The presence or absence of advertisements in a paid subscription will be determined by the applicable plan description presented before purchase.

Unless an advertising-free experience is expressly included in the purchased plan, a subscription should not be interpreted as a guarantee that all advertisements will be removed.

If a plan expressly promises an advertising-free or reduced-advertising experience, that promise will be honoured in accordance with the applicable purchase terms and law.

Lockin will not use this section to override an express feature promise made to a paying user.

8.2 Advertising Availability

Advertising availability may depend on technical conditions, advertising inventory, device compatibility, and other factors.

Lockin does not guarantee that a particular advertisement, advertiser, or advertising format will always be available.

Nothing in this section authorizes unlawful, deceptive, or misleading advertising practices.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

Your use of Lockin is also governed by our separate Privacy Policy.

Depending on the features you use, Lockin may process registration details, profile information, photographs, messages, verification information, device information, and payment-related records.

We process personal information for purposes disclosed in our Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.

These purposes may include providing the Service, managing accounts, facilitating matching and communication, maintaining security, preventing fraud, moderating content, processing transactions, and complying with legal obligations.

Information may be shared with service providers or other recipients where necessary and permitted by applicable law.

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy, data-protection requirements, and relevant retention obligations.

You should review our Privacy Policy to understand how your information is handled and what rights may be available to you.

Nothing in these Terms authorizes Lockin to process personal information unlawfully or removes any privacy rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Intellectual Property

The Lockin name, branding, logos, designs, software, interface, and other materials owned or licensed by Lockin are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by Lockin, you must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, sell, or commercially exploit any part of the Service.

Subject to these Terms, Lockin grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purposes.

No ownership rights in Lockin's intellectual property are transferred to you through your use of the Service.

11. Account Suspension, Termination, and Deletion

You may stop using Lockin at any time and may request account deletion through available account settings or support channels.

Lockin may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:

• A violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• Suspected fraud, impersonation, abuse, or unlawful conduct.
• A security threat or unauthorized account access.
• Repeated misuse of the Service.
• Attempts to circumvent enforcement measures.
• A legal obligation or valid request from an authorized authority.
• Circumstances in which continued access presents a material risk to users or the Service.

Where appropriate and legally permissible, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue before taking action.

In serious cases, immediate action may be necessary to protect users, investigate suspected unlawful activity, or comply with legal obligations.

Where available and appropriate, you may request a review of an account restriction.

Following account termination or deletion, access to some or all features may cease. Associated personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

Deleting your account does not automatically entitle you to a refund for a subscription already supplied. However, applicable refund rights and other non-excludable legal remedies remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, Lockin is not responsible for losses resulting solely from a lawful suspension or termination of an account due to the user's violation of these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

Lockin may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, advertising providers, hosting services, and other technology providers.

Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider's separate terms and privacy policies.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lockin is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, availability, or policies of third parties outside Lockin's reasonable control.

This provision does not exclude any responsibility that applicable law places on Lockin for its own conduct, representations, contractual obligations, or handling of personal information.

13. Service Availability and Disclaimers

Lockin is provided on an "as available" basis, subject to applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or available at every time or location.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical failures, network issues, security incidents, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Lockin may introduce new features, modify existing functionality, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for technical, operational, security, legal, or business reasons.

Where a change affects a paid service, applicable purchase terms and legal requirements will continue to apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lockin disclaims warranties that are not expressly provided or legally required.

Nothing in this section excludes statutory guarantees or other obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lockin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from the use of the Service where such exclusion is legally enforceable.

Subject to applicable law, Lockin is not responsible for losses arising solely from:

• The independent conduct, statements, or decisions of other users.
• Fraud or misconduct committed independently by another user.
• A user's decision to communicate with or meet another user.
• Inaccurate information supplied by another user.
• An interruption caused solely by circumstances outside Lockin's reasonable control.
• The independent acts or omissions of third-party service providers.
• A user's failure to protect their login credentials or comply with reasonable security precautions.
• A user's inability to obtain matches, replies, relationships, or particular outcomes from the Service.

These limitations apply only to the extent that the relevant loss is legally capable of being excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be determined in accordance with applicable law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, infringement of another person's rights, fraudulent activity, or material violation of these Terms, to the extent attributable to your conduct.

This provision does not require you to indemnify Lockin for losses caused by Lockin's own unlawful conduct or for liabilities that cannot legally be transferred to you.

Any claim under this section remains subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.

16. Changes to the Service and These Terms

Lockin may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations.

For material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice through the application, website, or another appropriate channel before the changes take effect, where required by applicable law.

Where affirmative consent is legally required, we will obtain it before applying the relevant changes to you.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect will be subject to the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

We may also modify or discontinue features in accordance with these Terms, applicable purchase commitments, and applicable law.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms will be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable conflict-of-law rules and mandatory legal protections.

If you have a complaint or dispute, we encourage you to contact Lockin first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from approaching a competent court, consumer commission, regulatory authority, or other forum where you are legally entitled to seek relief.

Any contractual jurisdiction provision will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

18. General Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

No Waiver: A failure by Lockin to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive its right to enforce that provision later.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and applicable purchase-specific terms, govern your use of Lockin, subject to any mandatory legal requirements.

No Transfer of Non-Excludable Rights: Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove consumer rights, statutory protections, or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Interpretation: Headings are included for convenience and do not independently determine the interpretation of these Terms.
